What is The Fare Powers Reform?
Thank you for rejoining us, Professor. I trust it’s acceptable for me to use that title?
That’s fine. It is one of my legitimate titles afterall. Besides, there are those who profess that title who do not profess the Truth most of the time…but our Panel does, among our other titles, we unanimously profess the Truth above all.
Point well taken, sir. Then again, that’s why you’re truthfully here in the first place. So, what is your expert take on defining The Fare Powers Reform?
You flatter us. But I’ll paraphrase here as well just to concisely yet exactly state what it means. It is a series of detailed solutions offered in three voter initiatives which will reinforce rightful self interest of each level of the great middle class. More on that of course, but suffice it to say, that it can only gain momentum through the 10% Solution–a term coined to emphasize the committed one in ten…it appears to me that it’s always been that way, and perhaps, it’s supposed to be.
Ten Percent Solution? What exactly do you mean? And how does that apply to our initiatives?
I actually wanted to use this term, but it took some time before our panel fully agreed. Its general meaning is probably self evident. In this case, I’m stating that it means that only the most committed to change, based on effective service, have the day to day willingness to apply their personal power to institute the initiatives into the cannon of Constitutional Law, state rights and/or hopefully the US Constitution.
To briefly define what the Fare Powers Reform is, which you and your allies are in the process of refining to elegant and exquisite degrees, I can address each initiative here in no more than three paragraphs:
-
The Fare Pay Initiative: The Fare Pay lays out exactly how it will be funded, who will qualify and how it will alleviate many, if not most, social ills which plague society; it will do so by providing gainful employment and learning for anyone. It also will provide–in addition to or outside of traditional forms of education–focused STEM learning to expand highly skilled technologies, even while working to earn a living and therefore earn a better living at some future point. All of it done debt free through existing revenue streams…workers who are the the backbone, the hands and feet of America, will at long last have a solid baseline economic foundation to stand and build upon.
-
The Fare Housing Initiative: As we’ve said, Fare Housing must be an anchor to Fare Pay! It will do so by compelling through law and state Constitution the mass production of affordable housing units, and also compel rezoning commercial and industrial areas to develop such locations which already have overhead or underground utilities in place. It will also lessen concerns about declining property values and actually increase values in existing residential areas while positively impacting close by employment availability. We see this as a so called win/win situation. Afterall, as you’ve said, what good is expanded employment without expanded comfortable and safe housing for those who need it most? Too, it will restructure mortgage financing and refinancing methods to the great benefit of the great middle classes within our Golden State, but also stabilize affordable renting.
-
The Fare Health Care Initiative: Affordable health care has become, to use the word again, a bedevilment…in fact, torments for many who suffer! Fare Health care will help stop these financial lashings. Mostly because of availability and cost–yet near fascist control and manipulation of medical economics also plays a dire role for the middle classes–this initiative will give the People a financial lever to lift and reposition these many times economically crushing burdens. The initiative’s straight forward approach is actually stunning in its profound simplicity! By providing a lower cost, affordable, type of medical insurance, a kind of “deductible policy” if you will, or none at all depending on cost variables, it will force down policy costs to beneficial, manageable levels for the rank and file. The catastrophic care plan, whose premiums are usually much cheaper, especially at such massive population numbers as you lay out, will work at very high rates of success. Add to that the consumer protections the initiative will install, and you have a highly efficient plan which will be of great service to all.
Let me also add if I may, that in the Guiding Hands of the People, policy is resolution and solution…or more precisely, in the informed hands of what you have called the Electoral Conscience, knowledge in action is power, especially in helping oneself and others.
I believe that about covers it for now.
Thank you for that overview, Professor. Until next time then.
Yes. Until next time. Onward and upward!
